Are the animations free to use?
Yes. They can be used for personal learning, testing, evaluation, non-commercial UI/UX concepts, and portfolio projects.
Can I use them in a published app or website?
A commercial VFE license is required for integration into a published app, website, wearable, fitness device, client project, or other commercial product.
Can I use them in a Behance or Dribbble project?
Yes, provided the project is a non-commercial concept, portfolio case study, or personal learning project.
Can I change the colors?
Yes. Individual colors can be changed manually using the Lottie Editor.
What do I receive with a paid purchase?
After payment is confirmed, your purchased animations are available as Lottie JSON files in a ZIP archive in Download Center. They use the original VFE colors and Male ponytail where applicable. You can recolor the files and remove the ponytail with the VFE Customization Tool. Ready-made video files are not included. VFE Tools or compatible third-party converters can create other formats, including in batches; supported exports depend on the tool and browser. Conversion is allowed for Individual purchases too, under the same license.
Do I need to buy the full library?
No. You can choose individual animations, buy an equipment pack, or choose broader coverage. Select the license level that matches your product. You can add animations later through Download Center, with eligible previous payments credited toward qualifying upgrades. See Licenses & Fair Upgrade Policy for details.
Which formats can I download from LottieFiles?
These free samples are downloaded through LottieFiles. Check the download options on each animation page: available formats, export resolution and account requirements depend on the current LottieFiles offering. Paid VFE purchases are delivered separately through Download Center as Lottie JSON source files.
